Gary Parker is a Certified Public Accountant, President and shareholder of Moffitt, Parker and Company, Inc. He is a graduate of Northeastern State University with a double major of Accounting and Economics. He has been married to Carol Rader Parker for 47 years, and has two children, and five grandchildren.

 

He has been active in professional organizations serving as Director, Vice President, Chairman of the Ethics Committee and Chairman of the Legislative Committee of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has also served on the Ethics Committee and Regional Legislative Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has served his community as a Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Capital Improvements Steering Committee of the City of Muskogee, Trustee of the First Baptist Church, Member of the Oklahoma Superconducting Super Collider Development Authority. He was one of the founding board members of Leadership Oklahoma, member of the Judicial Retention Committee of the State of Oklahoma. He served 14 years on the Muskogee Regional Medical Center Authorty Board of Trustees, including 5 years as Chairman.

He currently serves as a director or trustee of Oneok, Inc., a publicly traded diversified energy company with headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he has been a Board Member since 1991. Member and Vice-Chairman of the Audit Committee, and member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee; Firstar Financial Corps and Firstar National Bank, NA, Director and Shareholder since formation in 2001. Member of the bank Audit Committee; Holding Company Executive Committee; Oklahoma Heritage Association, now The Oklahoma Hall of Fame, and Northeastern State University Foundation, Inc. Trustee since 1990.
